As a parent of a beautiful mixed race daughter, it was my responsibility to educate myself on the problems and issuues of a sad reality she may have to face in life. Then it was my turn to educate her at an early age about BOTH sides of her family and embrace her heritages. And yes, I do have THE TALK with my daughter everytime she's driving, walking, talking, shopping, breathing and succeeding.
